How to add a user to Google Webmaster Tools

Another important data source your SEO consultant will need is Google Webmaster Tools. To add a user, please follow these instructions.

  1. Sign in to Google Webmaster Tools:
  2. Select which site you wish to add a user to. Note: you must be the account owner (not a user) to proceed.


  3. Click the gear icon in the upper right and select Users and Site Owners


  4. In the upper right, click Add a New User


  5. Enter (or the email address of your SEO consultant) in the User email box and change Persmission to Full.


  6. Click Add
