Full-time position with freelancers (Social Media Marketing Specialists, SEO Specialists, Copywriters) serving as direct reports.

Responsible for social media marketing, conversion optimization and organic SEO strategy development / production for large and enterprise-level clients of The Search Guru. Also responsible for identifying growth opportunities in clients’ multi-channel marketing mix and designing deliverables to suit. Selected duties: intake audits, competitive audits, blog audits, social media audits, content consulting and online reputation management. Specialized deliverables include those for YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest and Instagram.

Spotlight achievement: grew Fortune 500 company blog page views from 0 to 6,000+ per month, social shares from 0 to 100+ per blog post.

Internet Marketing Manager – Sales & Marketing Technologies, February 2011 to August 2011.

Full-time position with direct reports (SEO / SEM Specialists).

Responsible for the management of an ad agency Internet marketing team. Lead consultant for 50+ clients operating in varied industries ranging from defense to hospitality. Production duties included intake audits, keyphrase research, organic keyphrase traffic strategy development, conversion optimization setup and implementation, social media marketing, paid search management and monthly reporting. Departmental management duties included production spreadsheets, checking staff time entry against tasks and capacity reporting to the Production Manager.

Spotlight achievement: managed the on-time delivery of monthly marketing hours during a period of staff loss. Creatively repositioned tasks and realigned staff members to ensure uninterrupted client service. Interviewed and hired staff members that have positively contributed to client and employer growth for over 2 years.

Internet Marketing Manager / Graphic Designer – Timeshares Only,  May 2004 to October 2010.

Full-time position with direct reports (SEO Specialists, Link Builders, Copywriters, Developers).

Responsible for the creation and performance monitoring of several national billboard, direct mail and Internet advertising campaigns with spends in excess of $1M. Staffed and managed full online / offline marketing department. Setup social media marketing department and supervised the development of all social profiles. Managed full life-cycle development of two enterprise websites and over 30 supporting micro-sites and blogs.

Also responsible for developing production schedules, forecasting deliverables and dependencies, proactive identification of risks / conflicts between business and production teams, tracking campaign performance via CRM data export and cloud data from 800-number providers, A/B and MVT testing of ads and landing pages with Google Website Optimizer (Google Content Experiments), establishing and reporting on KPIs, segmenting traffic and traffic/customer behavior reporting via Google Analytics. Created, managed  and reported on email campaigns and CPM media buys.

Spotlight achievement: ranked company site on page one for several competitive keyphrases relating to timeshare resales. Responsible for sourcing the company’s highest converting leads.

Business owner.

Co-founder of a web technology start-up focusing on the creation of interactive 3D product models for websites. Secured funding and generated new business for clients such as MTV, Franchise Pictures, Def Jam, and Brilliant Digital Entertainment.

Spotlight achievement: contributed to a large scale effort targeting increased voter turnout with interactive 3D content used by MTV’s Rock the Vote campaign.
